Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development (OICSD)

The Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development (OICSD) works on pressing sustainable development challenges and opportunities, with cooling as a core area of research and impact. With close ties to the Oxford Future of Cooling Programme, the work includes landscape assessments of active and passive cooling technologies; the social construction of cooling and behaviours; identifying low-carbon cold chain solutions; examining links between cooling and health; and mapping the global production network of cooling, including HFCs.
