ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, South Asia (ICLEI SA) is the South Asia Secretariat of the global organization ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability headquartered in Bonn, Germany, a global network of 1,750+ cities, towns and regions committed to building a sustainable future. Through its varied capacity ICLEI SA supports several countries and states, and more than 100 Asian cities, including 60 Indian cities, in implementing strategies and actions on sustainable and climate resilient urban development, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. ICLEI SA has worked with cities to address efficient cooling and comfort through building efficiency and district cooling adoption.
