ICC Regional Dialogue

As ICC continues to strengthen collaboration and impact, we are coming to the western region with the ICC Regional Dialogue – Mumbai. This convening will bring together sectoral experts and stakeholders, our regional network of members, prospective members, and media to focus on ‘How Maharashtra is Building Next-gen Cooling Infrastructure and Capacity.’ 

Maharashtra, as India’s economic engine and manufacturing hub, is leading the way in building next-generation infrastructure that is sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient. With its deep industrial base, strong R\&D ecosystem, and the largest network of cold storage facilities in the country, the state is uniquely positioned to develop and deploy scalable, energy-efficient cooling solutions. As India’s cooling demand is expected to grow eightfold by 2037, Maharashtra’s pioneering actions, across agriculture, urban planning and management, and technology, demonstrate how sub-national leadership can align growth with climate resilience.
